Swimming Pool

At Dalton Leisure Centre we have a 20 Metre warm-water Swimming Pool with an integral paddling pool for toddlers.

A 10-Person capacity Sauna is sited on the poolside facilitating easy access to the water when the temperature becomes a little too hot.

Swimming Lessons

We offer swimming courses for both children and adults on a regular weekly basis.

Rules And Regulations

All bathers are expected to shower before entering the pool.

Verruca socks should be worn on the infected foot (plasters tend to come off in the water).

All babies must wear some form of plastic baby pants. Nappies are not advisable.

Goggles, floats and armbands are allowed in the pool. Small inflatables at the discretion of the Lifeguard. Facemasks, glass spectacles, snorkels and flippers are not permitted.

Diving into the water is only allowed in the deep end of the pool.

Private Hire Of Pool

Available:

• Saturday 5.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.
• Sunday 4.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.

Private Hire Cost

£75.00 for up to 30 people. Extra charge for 30 + people (adults + children) up to a maximum of 55 people.

This entitles you to 50 minutes in the water and the use of our lounge area for the next 50 minutes.

The centre is available to any Club, Group or Company wishing to hire the centre for the whole evening at very reasonable rates, with a licensed bar available if required.

If you require a buffet, this can be arranged at competitive rates through the High Tide Cafe Bar. Alternatively, you can bring your own - the choice is yours!
